Pragmatism must be inherited,
it cannot be taught.
It is neither extreme enough,
nor radical in its expression
to be indoctrinated.
I have earned
my pragmatism the hard way:
trial-and-error.
Belief is never enough,
you must show effect,
and show it repeatedly;
anything else
is emotional dogma.
They pile up
like leaves
or mail,
after a vacation….
Things to be done.
There is no sword,
or arrow,
or bolt of light
that can fade them.
They will be there,
tomorrow,
and still un-done.
Bastards….
